Booba and Kaaris under police custody for a Brawl in Orly airport in Paris

Rappers Booba and Kaaris, as well as their relatives, fought violently, this Wednesday, August 1, 2018, around 15h, at Orly airport in Paris. The altercation took place in the boarding area and required police intervention. Contacted by “The Obs,” the airport confirms: “Two groups of people grabbed each other around 3 pm and had to be separated by the police.”

Reports indicate that the two and the parties involved were placed in custody.

The airport lobby was temporarily closed, and several flights delayed.

The scene of the fight was widely filmed and shared on social networks. Booba appears wearing a black T-shirt, and Kaaris a grey shirt, both engaged in a violent brawl, where bottles of perfume are thrown. The passengers present were stunned by the incident while other captured the moment with their phones.

Booba real name is Elie Yaffa; currently 41 years old has had a successful solo career, selling more than 10 million copies over his career and becoming the most legally downloaded artist in French history.

Kaaris,  currently 38 years old, is known as a rap industry in France. His parents were born in Ivory Coast. Booba and Kaaris were close friends in the early 2010s. The two friends did a recording together in the rap song “Kalash” in 2012.

Since then, relations between the two rappers have deteriorated. Three years ago, Booba blamed Kaaris for not supporting him in his “clashes” with rappers Rohff and La Fouine. Since then, things seem to have gotten worse.

Booba was expected this Wednesday night in Spain for a concert in Barcelona. It was while waiting for this flight that the altercation occurred.
