Roger Sikhakhane Career

Sikhakhane has been unwell for about a year and his club Royal Eagles had recently given him sick leave after just four National First Division matches played. His assistants Kagisho Dikgacoi and Sazi Ngubani took over on an interim basis. On November 2018, Eagles confirmed the permanent appointment of Zlatko Krmpotic.

Eagles, who have long been looking for promotion to the PSL, pinned their hopes on Sikhakhane to lead them to the top flight, as he previously did with Thanda.

Sikhakhane first caught the eye as a coach with ABC Motsepe League side in KZN, Island FC, taking them to the Nedbank Cup last 32.

He also had stints with Chippa United, helping them with the NFD title in 2013/14 season when he was the assistant coach to Vladislav Heric.
