April Freeman was born on 9th February 1964 and died on Sunday 23rd September 2018, aged 54. She was Democratic House candidate who was set to run for a seat in Florida’s 17th Congressional District. Freeman was a film and TV producer, whose competent was Republican Greg Steube. The position was previously held by retiring Rep. Tom Rooney (R-Fla.). Freeman also contested for the seat against Rooney in 2016. April Freeman, who won the Democratic primary on August 2018.

April Freeman died on Sunday 24th September 2018. In a Facebook post, her husband, David Freeman wrote “Its with great sadness that I feel I must inform all of you that my beloved wife April passed away suddenly last night,”

Florida Democratic Party Chair Terrie Rizzo released the following statement:

“We are incredibly saddened by the sudden death of April Freeman. April put her heart and soul into her community – and was dedicated to making a better future for all Floridians.

“Just last night she was in the office, making calls and working to get out the vote. Her work ethic and passion was an inspiration to all of us. It is a tremendous loss to the Democratic Party and to all who knew her.

“Our hearts break for her family and loved ones, who are grieving her loss.”

Her husband suspects she might have had Heart Attack. She is survived by her husband David Freeman and two children, Samantha and Ashley.
