Krauthammer, who graduated from Harvard Medical School in 1975 in spite of a first-year diving mishap that left him a quadriplegic, clarified that he had a dangerous tumor removed from his abdomen last August(2017). Even though a progression of setbacks left him hospitalized in the subsequent months, he believed that he was on his road to recovery until recently.

However, ongoing tests have uncovered that the growth has returned,” Krauthammer wrote on 5 June 2018.

He went to McGill University in Montreal, graduating in 1970 with First Class Honors in both financial aspects and political science. What’s more, it rinsed me at a very early stage in my political development of any sentimentalism,” He later stated: “I disdained the extraordinary Left and outrageous Right, and got myself someplace in the center.” The next year, after graduating from McGill, he studies as a Commonwealth Scholar in legislative issues at Balliol College, Oxford, before coming back to the United States to go to Medical School of Harvard.
