C.J. Fuller Early Life and Education

Fuller grew up in Easley, South Carolina​ and graduated from Easley High School​ where he was a standout football player. During high school, he was ranked the No. 19 prospect in South Carolina by 247Sports.com and Rivals.com and helped his school make the state playoffs three consecutive years, a first in school history.

Fuller went on to commit to playing football at Clemson University​ and would major in sociology at the school. His collegiate career state includes 599 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 147 carries along with 18 receptions for 155 yards and two touchdowns in 488 snaps over 44 games.

C.J. Fuller Arrest for Robbery with Violence

In March of 2018, he was arrested, along with former Clemson teammate Jadar Johnson and another ex-teammate from high school, and charged with armed robbery and possession of a weapon, in a case that has not gone to trial.

C.J. Fuller Death and Cause

Clemson University confirmed on Wednesday, 4th October 2018 that former Tigers running back C.J. Fuller died on away 3rd October at the age of 22-years-old. The cause of death is yet to be established. Fuller died at a hospital in Greenville, South Carolina, after being taken there from a relative’s home. An autopsy will be conducted, with results expected in six to eight weeks.
