Kelleth Cuthbert “Fiji Water Girl.”
On 6th January 2019, Kelleth Cuthbert went viral after photobombing celebrities in the 76th edition of Golden Globe Awards while working as a Fiji Water model/representative for the event. She appeared in the background of several photos with celebrities, proudly holding a tray of Fiji water bottles. In many of the photos, she made direct eye contact with the cameras. During the event, she photobombed celebrities including Nicole Kidman, Kaley Cuoco, Judy Greer, Idris Elba, Eric Lange, and Jim Carrey.
Cuthbert was one of the four models handing out bottles of Fiji Water at the event. Fiji Water has sponsored the Golden Globe Awards since 2015. However, her colleagues don’t appear to have been quite so confident in their photobombing skills.
Ahead of the red carpet kick-off, the four women were seen posing together for a few official Fiji shots, with all of the models wearing two different dress styles, both of which were designed in the same shade of blue.
Kelleth’s dress featured a gentle V-shaped neckline, as well as several layers of tulle material, as well as pretty black ribbon straps that were each tied with a small bow.
Later on, in an interview with the Los Angeles Times after the Golden Globes, Cuthbert said, “it’s all strategic.” “You’ve got to angle.”

Cuthbert told Glamour that she’s confused and overwhelmed by all the attention, though she thinks it’s hilarious. “I do love a good meme, so I think it’s incredibly ironic and funny that I’m one now,” she says. “The first meme of 2019! My husband is laughing very hard about all of this.”
“This is something I would go viral for,” she jokes. “I feel like I’ve been photobombing people since I was a kid.”
On reports that her moves were calculated, Cuthbert says that isn’t true. “I never said that. I just stand where I’m told, wherever there is an opening.” She tells us she simply moved from spot to spot and passed out water as she tried to keep a neutral but pleasant face. She further explained that “Everyone has their work or event persona, You try to look at least somewhat pleasant and not have a too much-resting bitch face. You have to look somewhat friendly and happy to be engaging with people.” She wasn’t trying to photobomb everyone; she says: “Sometimes you’re caught between a lot of cameras, so there’s a lot of photographers at different angles. You’re just trapped sometimes. See that’s the thing: I feel like I was looking away, but sometimes I was looking so I could move out of the way.”
